The design establishes a dialogue between contemporary architecture and the deep cultural heritage of Takhte Soleyman, a site shaped by Zoroastrian, Sassanid, and Ilkhanid influences. Constructed with a portable metal skeleton and travertine cladding, the structure respects the historical fabric while incorporating modern building techniques. Interior materials, including wood-plastic composites and natural wood, reference the region’s traditional craftsmanship, creating a tactile connection to the past.
Rooted in a site of spiritual and historical significance, the project maintains a minimal footprint, aligning with international conservation principles. By integrating sensitively with its cultural context, the design preserves the site’s authenticity while accommodating contemporary spatial needs.
